While Microsoft’s press conference at MWC is currently live, they went ahead and released the consumer preview for all to use. You can download the .ISO in several different languages directly from Microsoft by going here. The English x64 copy is roughly 3.3GB. I’ll be installing it on a few PCs later this afternoon to see what it’s all about. Without touch, Windows 8 still seems like a novelty, so it’ll be interesting to see how Microsoft has integrated the desktop experience since the launch of the developer preview back in September (read our post about it here, here, and here).
