[Review] BodyGuardz Anti-Glare and Fingerprint ScreenGuardz [Video]

BodyGuardz on the phone

If you’re looking to protect the screen on your device, getting a protection film by BodyGuardz might be the way to go. Their products range from screen shields to even earbuds. Today, I’ll be reviewing the anti-glare screen shield for the Samsung Galaxy S II (T-Mobile), which was sent out for review. The product itself retails for $15.95.

What’s Included

  • 2 front screen protectors
  • 1 microfiber cleaning cloth
  • 1 instruction manual

The Product

The ScreenGuardz adds little thickness to the phone. It comes with lifetime replacements which is a plus. It was very easy to install, but like many screen protectors, it had lots of bubbles that needed to be smoothed out. The  cut was well, as it lined up perfectly with the phone. It utilizes a dry application, so installation took about two minutes because of the bubbles. Dry applications are good, because they obviously don’t require any sort of liquid.

While it does pick up some fingerprints, they aren’t too noticeable when using the phone (as the screen is on). The anti-glare feature of the screen shield does work. It does make the screen easier to see in sunlight, but it does decrease the brightness of the screen somewhat. The overall clarity of displays are also slightly decreased.

Overall, I have had no problems with the screen shield and the price is rather reasonable. The lifetime replacements does make this a great deal.
