The iPod Nano is one of the most changed products out of all in the iPod series. It has gone from the original to one with a video camera, and then to a square one that looks like the new iPod Shuffle. One of the most prominent features of the new design is the ability to wear it as a watch. The Loop Watch Band comes in six different colors and retails for $19.99 each (visit Loop’s website for all the color options and details; Amazon). There is also the ability to purchase a set of three for $50. This Graphite Loop watch band was sent out for review.
The Loop has a bezel-ed band that makes it unique, featuring two strap keepers. The overall product is made of silicone, so it does attract quite a bit of lint. There are some parts of the watch band that are not fully flush with the iPod, but does not cause any problems (as shown in the video). The iPod is fully exposed, so all of the buttons are accessible and easy to push.
Design wise, it looks sleek and turns many heads. I received a lot of compliments about the watch band and many asked where I got it. It is much thinner than my old Hex watch band. Plus, this looks much nicer. It has a smaller band than most watches, so some people may have a hard time using it if their wrist is large.
Overall, I see myself using this watch band everyday and recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive but high quality watch band for their sixth-generation iPod Nano.
