iOS 6 beta 1 jailbreak tweak compatibility list

For those tweakers who are interested in what jailbreak tweaks work in iOS 6 beta 1 or not, the below list is a good place to start. The list comes courtesy of an anonymous source, and includes the status of many popular tweaks. Check the list out below. As expected, very few tweaks and packages actually work. Command-line-based packages work fine (obviously), but packages that rely on Icon Support or even Notification Center will ultimately fail.




Device used: iPod touch 4G

Notes

  • Some dependencies rely on other dependencies which may or may not work on iOS 6 (just yet).
  • There were many problems with icons disappearing or magically reappearing, most of which were fixed after reboot.
  • Cydia is semi-glitchy.
  • After installing something from Cydia, you might have random apps crash or your SpringBoard glitch-out.
  • Some freezing might occur, but the device will eventually catch up with itself.
  • A respring or reboot fixes most problems.

Anything that relies on Icon Support or Notification Center doesn’t seem to work at this time.

    PreferenceLoader is working fine.
    Activator works at rpetri.ch/ios6 repo.
    DoubleAt works.

    NCSettings not work.
    SBSettings not work.

      SBSettings works after run “su -c uicache mobile”
      then “killall SpringBoard”

    SBSettings works fine after you install Activator from rpetri.ch/iOS 6. Some tweaks seem to crash the device but after tetherboot work just fine. Also remember that holding volume up on boot will disable cydia tweaks if you get into trouble. But yes SBSettings even works on beta 2 if you use the correct Activator.

      sbsettings (at least on beta 1; i have not jailbroken beta 2 yet) works, however, for my phone at least, hitting the processes button crashes the springboard

    I install winterboard in iphone 4 running ios 6 but now i am stuck in a respring loop so i appreciate if any one help me how to get out of this thing

    activator doesn’t work for ‘lock device’ but work for ‘sleep button’ with some kinda gestures…

    I’m on iOS 6.0.1 iPhone 4 and SBsettings works fine but when I try to go into the “Processes” it goes into safe mode also most of the tweaks and mods do work fine but I just recently installed GTA Vice City and loads up fine except but crashes when I click on new/resume game, I’m thinking it is all because I’m on a tethered jailbreak, I’m not too eager for the iOS6 Untethered jailbreak as to more waiting for the new version of TinyUmbrella where you can restore to any iOS without iTunes errors, I just want to be back on iOS5.X.X, also I did not update it, it was on iOS6.0.1 when I bought it from obviously someone who has no business with iDevices since there are NO remote shsh blobs what so ever, bummer :/
