SwitchEasy, being a great company with a large and unique lineup of iDevice accessories, went ahead and sent me over the “Colors” iPhone 4/4S case (Amazon) for review purposes. I haven’t used many silicone cases before, but this sure seems to be noticeably better than a lot of cases with other materials. For a small price of $14.99, this case is available in 13 total colors, and since this is SwitchEasy, you can lots of little extras within the packaging, which includes dock connector and headphone jack covers, video stands, and more.

To start off, this is a basic silicone case, but unlike other cases that use the same material, the complete bottom portion of the phone is covered. The home button has a very nice “jelly bean” cover that is a tad bit awkward at first to use, but you get used to it, and is overall a great addition. At the bottom of the phone, there is one large cutout for the dock, speaker, and microphone. The left side has an individual cutout for the silent switch, and right below that, you’ll find the covered volume buttons, both of which have an excellent amount of feedback when pressed. The top of the case has a teardrop cutout for the headphone jack and secondary microphone. You’ll also find a little nub for the power button which also has great tactile feedback.

The only flaw with all silicone cases is the fact that they attract loads of dust, but in my experience with this case, the dust is quite minimal.

Overall, I give this case a 5/5, due to the fact that it is a very inexpensive case and protcts the phone completely, and the included extras are always a welcomed addition. If you’re looking for an inexpensive and quality case, the Colors by SwitchEasy is worth a look.
