If you purchase an eligible PC between June 2nd and January 31st, 2013, you’ll be able to get a copy of Windows 8 Professional for just $14.99. All you have to do is buy a new Windows 7 PC, and register it using the 25-character key for Windows 7. Registration takes place at the Windows Upgrade Offer website. Since Windows 8 isn’t actually out, those who register won’t be receiving their upgrade until October 26th. If you’ve purchased a PC before June 2nd, you can get an upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for $39.99, which still isn’t too bad of a deal.
