If you’re into bumpers, why not be able to mix-and-match the colors? SGP has you covered with their Neo Hybrid IIs bumpers for the iPhone 4/4S (Amazon). It’s a 2-piece bumper that will cost you about $22 directly from SGP. Each piece comes in several different colors that you can choose from over on SGP’s website.

As mentioned above, this is a 2-piece kit. Part A, the frame, is the plastic border that goes over part B, the silicone, which actually has more of a TPU feel to it. The installation process requires you to first start with the silicone band. Once that’s installed and properly aligned with your iPhone’s ports and buttons, you can then begin work on the plastic band. I found it much easier to start with the top power button first, moving on to the volume button area, finishing with the bottom area of the iPhone.

The best part about the Neo Hybrid IIs has to be regarding the extreme amount of feedback, or click, that you get when pushing through the silicone band’s button nubs. Unfortunately, the headset jack and 30-pin dock connector cutouts are quite small, so using anything other than the stock Apple earbuds and 30-pin USB cable most likely won’t work, which was the case with all of my third-party cables and my Klipsch s4i earphones.

Beyond that, the rest of the Neo Hybrid IIs is just your standard bumper, one that represents the original Apple Bumper. That’s not a bad thing, as the Neo Hybrid IIs executes everything quite nicely, other than the small ports. If you can look beyond that, which most people should be able to, then the Neo Hybrid IIs makes for a great and customizable bumper for any iPhone 4 and/or iPhone 4S user.
