Announced a short while ago by HTC comes their Windows Phone 8X and Windows Phone 8S smartphones, both of which offer their own modern designs (with a slight hint of Nokia). Comparing the two, the 8S is the lower-end device, consisting of just 512MB of RAM, a 1.0GHz dual-core CPU, 5MP rear-facing camera (no front-facing cam in this one), and just 4GB of storage. Looking up to the 8X shows a much more elegant feature-set, including twice the amount of RAM, a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 4G LTE support, a 2.1MP front-facing camera, a much-improved 8MP rear-facing camera, 16GB of storage, and a 4.3-inch 1280×720 display (featuring Gorilla Glass 2). Both phones are expected to be available on many carriers around the world beginning in November.
